Vietnam Set Up Special Zones To Offer Preferential Treatment To Small And Medium-Sized Enterprises Such As Japanese Clothing And Other Components.

The Vietnamese government intends to set up special economic zones for small and medium enterprises in Japan to invest in supporting industries in Vietnam. The SAR will provide preferential measures for tax rates and preferential logistics, pportation and infrastructure.

The purpose of the special economic zone set up by the Vietnamese government is to promote the development of related industries in Vietnam and shorten the development of the special economic zone.

At present, the homemade rate of the relevant components of Vietnam's auto industry is about 5-10%, and the self-made rate of the components such as garment industry and light industry is about 30-40%, and the bicycle industry is about 40-70%. The related products need to rely on imports from Japan and China, resulting in the trade to these countries.

According to Dang Huy Dong, Vice Minister of Vietnam's planned investment department, reducing import dependence on the above-mentioned countries is the most important at present.
